Well this week was nuts just like the weather

Just to warn you, this letter is going to be all over the place, but what else is new. So on Tuesday we had our zone meeting and we were talking about our investigators and we have an investigator name Violeta. Last week we visited her with Chris and we made a baptismal date with her and she accepted. We asked her if she knows this church is true, then will you be baptized and she said yes. We taught her the plan of salvation. I said something like, our time here is short and she referred back to that time when she accepted the invitation. She told us that yes I will be baptized because our time is short and Jesus is coming and it’s time I do something. So we were so stoked. She can’t go to church because her daughter just had a C-section so she has to watch over her. But anyways, we were talking about her in the zone meeting and the zone leaders are like wait, Violeta where does she live? Well it turns out she is their investigator too and neither of us knew it. But we invited her to be baptized first. So we have no idea what’s going to happen there. But the zone leaders are crazy, like some other missionaries so it will all work out ok.

Well on Wednesday my body freaked out on me like this whole week. I don’t know if you guys remember that one time in hue hue where I almost fainted. Well the same thing happened on Wednesday. We started eating and suddenly I just got a ton of stomach pain then a hot flash, then I felt like I was going to throw up and then faint, which almost happen and thank goodness we were eating at a really good members house. So they took me to their bed and all the feeling went away from my hands, then like three mins after I was fine and finished eating. After lunch we contacted a dude in the street. He was the biggest flirt I have ever met in the mission and I have met a lot. He looked like he was waiting for someone and we asked him if he was waiting for someone and he was like yes, I’m waiting for you guys. I’ve seen you two a lot and have always wanted to talk to you. He was so direct and was like, can you guys have boyfriends?  I would love to take you out on a date and just a bunch of dumb stuff like that. We are probably going to pass him onto the elders.

Also one thing super crazy is on Wednesday marks (cumplí) a year in the field. I don’t know how to say that in English! In other words I came to the mission field one year ago and I was in Hue Hue one year ago. I just can’t believe how time flies! And all the wonderful things that has happened in that year.

We visited Chris a lot this week. I have never had an investigator so unbelievably complicated like him. I love that kid so much he will be a friend for life but he is so complicated!!!!  On Saturday he went to Xela to celebrate his brother’s birthday and they decided to go to the temple so Chris could feel that it was the house of God. And he left the temple feeling horrible. He felt good until he entered the temple. Also when he prays to know if the Book of Mormon is true he feels sad. I don’t understand it, but if anyone could give me some advice about this I would highly appreciate it. (But if its negative advice I don’t want it)

Well Saturday just kind of stunk, I’m not going to lie. I was supposed to go to Xela to do some examines to see what’s going on with me and to see if I have pylori. But when I woke up on Saturday I felt like a team of football players tackled me like 20 thousand times. and my throat hurt so bad. Just walking to the bathroom was so hard. So I called the nurses and they told me not to come because I was too sick to get out of bed and I basically slept the whole day long. While I was sleeping my companion called ppl about church the next day, which worked out so great for us! Three people came to church and one of them we didn’t meet until we saw him at church. An elder gave us his name and number and my companion called him and he showed up to church. He is a strange little man and is totally in love with my companion. It turns out he has cancer... so one of his intentions to come to church was for money…but yeah... it all turned out good.

Sunday I was able to leave my bed and visit, but it was also the final of the world cup so nobody wanted to accept us because they were either watching the world cup or they were in church. But I’m so glad the world cup is finally over. Also the weather is crazy right now. One moment there is a ton of sun and its beautiful then at night it’s like flipping freezing!!!! It’s the worst.

Side note: The cat that lives with us went nuts the other day and put its kittens under sheet metal that is the roof of a shed of our neighbors and we couldn’t get them out. Well she brought two of them back today and one of them was dead. So I buried a kitten this morning. Poor little thing. It was pretty sad I’m not going to lie.

Well that’s my weird week. One thing I know is for sure is that Heavenly Father is always watching out for me. Even when hard things come, he is always there for me. And it’s the same for all of us. Love you all so much have a wonderful week!
