pues...

Well folks basically all of you know this because you all reminded me in your emails. I only have 4 months left. I can’t believe it! Time goes by soooooo fast!!!!! That’s only 17 weeks (122 days) left. Puchicka I’m freaking out a little bit!

This week was a good week but nothing too exciting happened. On Tuesday we went and visited with a sister named Pascula. She is the cutest little thing on this planet. She is tiny and is basically the only member that shares the church with others. She walks extremely fast and talks fast too. We went all over Toto visiting her friends. It was great. One of her friends talks a ton! And has had such a hard life. We invited her to be baptized and she said she would think about it. She is just kind of hard to teach because she talks a ton!

Last Sunday we helped a lady pull weeds in her garden and then made a visit with her. And on Wednesday we went and this family is great! I totally thought they weren’t going to accept us. They are so incredibly prepared. It’s a husband, wife, and a little girl. Hno Perez is the weirdest Guatemalan because he is so different from all the others guys. Basically all the men here are sexist, but he isn’t at all. And his point of view on life is soo different it wonderful! They are so prepared for this gospel! I could totally see them getting sealed in the temple and I could see him as a bishop someday. On Saturday we did Mexican enchiladas with them. They live high upon a mountain top. It probably takes a half an hour to walk up there. And when we got there we realized my companion left everything in the house because I told her she needed a jacket. And so she left the bag of food in the house but I did ask her if she had everything and she told me yes… but nope hahaha. So we took a tuk to the house and then back again. But it was a great night with the familia Perez.

On Thursday we did an activity with Yeni and her sister in law. We made molletes. There are Mexican molletes and there are Guatemalan molletes. We made Mexican molletes with Yeni and she wanted us to try Guatemalan molletes.  They are sooo good! Its bread filled with a cream pudding thing. Fried in beaten egg whites with the yolk then put in honey! Oh my goodness you guys they are sooooooooo incredibly good. And this is why I have gotten fat haha.

On Friday we had noche de hermanamiento where all the members get together. We taught the lesson and it was great! All the members that were there gave us references so hopefully it will help the work out a little bit.

Sundays are just kind of rough. Especially when you have 8 investigators planned to come to church and they all cancel Sunday morning. And only one shows up. Which we are SO GRATEFUL for. It’s just hard. Violeta and her daughters were supposed to come. We stopped by for them Sunday morning and they told us they couldn’t come until next week. Chafa (Must be a swear word?). 8:00 am church is the worst. But Sunday nights we have dinner with a sister and it a great way to end the week. The elders got all dressed up in corte. It was awesome and funny because of them in girl’s corte.

And btw I got my results back and I’m fine! And I basically don’t have a cold anymore, so hopefully I can stay healthy.

But have a wonderful week and thank you all for your love and support!
Love
Hna Anderson
