It’s my companions fault that...

.... I’m going to train! So on Tuesday we were ready to go to bed. I was lying in my bed talking to Hna Castillo when the zone leaders called saying I’m going to be a trainer. I was hoping that president was going to forget about me and that I could have another change with Hna Castillo - but nope. On Wednesday we went to Xela AGAIN for the trainers meeting. And as we were walking down to a member’s house who gave us a ride my companion was like I need to confess something. I told president that you should train or be the new leader. So now I’m going to train. This new group of missionaries is huge. A ton of new missionaries are coming. I have no idea if I will have a Gringa or Latina. But I’m not going to lie, I’m freaking out! It’s a huge responsibility. And I know that training is really hard to go through. It just is. But anyways I will be relying a lot on Heavenly Father and will try my hardest to help the new missionary to feel happy and learn how to be a good missionary.

Also like usual they changed their mind about p-day. I thought p-day was going to be on Thursday but they changed it back to Monday for the ppl in Xela and Toto. And tomorrow for the ppl in HueHue and Quiche because the conference is today for them.

So Yeni was supposed to get baptized on Saturday but she didn’t want to get married. She had a fight with her husband because he got all drunk which stinks. Then we also found out she doesn’t have the best understanding about the restoration so we are explaining everything more slowly. But is so hard to teach when she has six kids that always want attention. Yesterday we taught her so she could get a good feeling about who Joseph Smith was and we watched the Joseph Smith movie. Let me tell you Satan hates him and hates it when we teach someone about him. Because the kids were more hyper than usual. We had a problem with the video and when we finished the kids put the TV back on and what was on the TV? Anti-Mormon stuff. I couldn’t believe it! So we told them to change the channel in a nice way. And they did thank goodness. But I couldn’t believe it!

Also the baptism for Emily should have happened but she let us know that she is engaged and is getting married next month. Her boyfriend asked her through a text message then on Facebook then called her and then finally asked her face to face. If someone did that to me I would dump him immediately. But she is really happy. The problem is her boyfriend’s family are evangelicals and her family is Catholics. But she had a dream saying that this is the only true church. She is just being a little bit indecisive. She first told us that she didn’t have her mom’s support but she does. So we will have to work more with her and figure out what’s going on.

We are also working with an 18 year old. His whole family got baptized but him. He is struggling with knowing his answers. But Hna Castillo has taught everything to this kid and we are trying everything. He is very shy and a little closed off but has been opening up a lot. So we are praying he will get his answer.

We are also working with Andrea. She is so smart!  She gets all of it and has so many questions. She has a goal to get baptized the 17th of May. The thing that will be hard is changing her traditions because her family and her are super Catholics as well. But through the spirit those that are ready will change. I have seen it happen and know it’s true.

But I got sick AGAIN. I couldn’t believe it. And because I’m going to train I don’t want to be like death. So on Thursday it was raining and raining a lot so we didn’t leave until it stopped raining. And on Friday I felt like death so we didn’t leave for the whole day. And thanks to resting I’m feeling a heck of a lot better. But during those days I got to know Hna Castillo really well. Love her guts I’m going to miss her a lot! But she is definitely another friend for life. But she is also getting better with the medicine. So that is absolutely wonderful! She feels like it’s killing the bacteria. So hopefully all will be well with her in her new area!

That’s all folks. Love you all. Always so grateful for your love and support. Have a wonderful week!
Love
Hna Anderson
